Connect with nature on a bicycle ride around Bear Lake! The Trapper Trails Council is proud to make the 4th annual Bike-the Bear ride an “official” 2010 Celebration activity.

Biking around Bear Lake is an opportunity for youth and adults to enjoy a great bike ride around a great lake. Scouts could use this ride to finish the Cycling Merit Badge with the 50 mile half-century loop. Or make it part of the 100 Celebration by doing cycling the century loop (100 mile) option.

Bike the Bear The event will be fully supported with Bicycle mechanics with rest stops at almost every 10 mile segment of the 50 mile loop around the lake where riders can refuel and make sure all have a great experience.
There will be 100 mile (Century) and 50 mile (Half-century) divisions. The event will begin and end at Camp Hunt on the west shores of Bear Lake, Utah.
Overnight camping will be available at the camp for those who would like to participate in the pre-ride festivities.

For the more experienced riders, this ride is a great century opportunity. Be an example for the youth who follow you!
