Years ago in order to show his bravery a warrior had to use his skill and knowledge. Lodge Chief Jon Pugmire and Adviser Jeff Barnes decided it was time to develop a competition that would allow youth members the opportunity to also use their knowledge and skill. The competition named after Chief Chingachgook, requires participants to answer questions about the program of the Order and aspects of Lodge rules and history. At the end of the challenge the winner is declared and he is admitted into the Badger Track Warrior Society and is recognized as a member for life. Because of his inspiration in the development of the program Jon Pugmire was inducted as an honorary member of the Warrior Society. Recipients receive a framed certificate and a warrior shield which can be worn in ceremonies or dance.
